Happy Saturday! It’s the 65th day of this leap year and it’s cold and rainy and gray in that unique way that happens when winter transitions. It’s quiet. It’s still. Even the squirrels seem to be sleeping in. I am grateful to be alive right now. I’m grateful to look outside my window into a tangle of tree limbs and branches, naked for now so I can see the sky but it won’t be that way long. I’m grateful for work that I love and new adventures and fun challenges, for healthy food, long walks, a healthy body that likes to move and appreciates rest, for every time my mother tells me she loves me and our nightly conversations, for my sweet father, for the support of my spiritual community, for the best friends, a dog friend who teaches me all about having fun and enjoying life. I’m grateful for every second of love and joy that I experience. What are you grateful for today?
