Happy Sunday! It’s a cold, foggy morning in the Bluegrass and I am grateful to open my eyes and draw breath into my lungs and live this moment. I’m grateful for the cold and fun with a friend who loves it, for the days getting longer, the time change next weekend and brighter evenings and how happy that will make my mother. I’m grateful for every good, comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn and how they have contributed to my enjoyment of the moment, for all the miles I have walked and all the miles I have yet to walk. I’m grateful for jewel-like droplets of water clinging to the tender tree branches, the Robins’ egg blue sky of early mornings, cold air on my cheeks and a warm coat and scarf. I’m grateful for the gift of this day, for time with my spiritual community, for learning and listening and supporting and sharing. What are you grateful for today?
