Happy Sunday! It’s a clear, cool spring morning and I am grateful to be alive and living it. I’m grateful that the winds have calmed a bit, for the utility workers who keep the power coming to us regardless of the whims of Mother Nature, the outages that bring that into my awareness, for Spring’s version of weather tantrums, the green landscape covered with sweet blossoms and petals and that we don’t have 6 inches of snow on the ground this morning. I’m grateful for the chill in the air and the delight of my walking companion, for the color everywhere and the sweet scents and sounds and sights of life celebrating itself. I’m grateful for good food and good company and trying new things, for late evening phone calls and opportunities to affirm that Life really is saying ‘Yes’ to us, for my sweet wife and her love and affection and for time, space and energy shared with my spiritual community. What are you grateful for today?
