Hello Sunday! It’s a cool morning in central Kentucky and I am grateful to be alive and living it, hearing the birds singing happily, watching the squirrels forage about in the yard, sipping coffee, a purring cat curled up in my lap. I’m grateful for gardening and all metaphors for life that can be drawn from this powerfully energizing activity, this transaction with the earth, for weeding and turning, loosening up, planting seeds and nurturing tender new intentions, for harvesting and maintaining, fortifying, recuperating and recovering, spreading out and thinning out. I’m grateful for sharing my life with someone I love who loves me back, sharing giggles and being goofy and all the ways that fun and Joy show up in my days. What are you grateful for today?
