Hello Tuesday! It’s a musical morning here in the Bluegrass, the birds are celebrating another day of opulent abundance with a serenade through the open windows and the air is cool and damp. I am grateful to be alive right here and right now, for another beautiful, spring day in Kentucky, for flowers and blossoms and blooms everywhere, for every shade of red and every shade of blue and the delightful things that happen when they come together. I’m grateful for a camera that fits neatly in my pocket and tracks my mileage and makes phone calls, too, for sleeping soundly at night and waking to hot coffee and happy cats, for gentle, soaking rains, a dog who’s always up for fun – no matter what, books full of inspirational wisdom, returning to fiction and stories that catch me up and won’t let me go, a break in the rain last evening that was long enough for my sweet spouse to spend some time in her beloved garden and the dirt. What are you grateful for today?
