Hello Saturday! It’s a sprinkly, gray morning in the Bluegrass, the wind is still and the birds are subdued. I am grateful to be alive – to be living and breathing right now. I’m grateful for good health, enough energy to get through my days, long walks when I can spare the time and short walks when I can’t, for simple, easy date nights and de-compressing with someone who loves me. I’m grateful that I lived in a world that had Muhammad Ali in it, that I was a witness to the courage he had to stand in his truth and faith and that he was finally and rightly celebrated for those actions. I’m grateful for my sister, Mollie, for her knowledge and big, open heart. I’m grateful for amazing neighbors and community and all the ways we support each other and show love and affection, for medical professionals and their expertise and talents and contribution to the quality of life of others. I’m grateful for every opportunity I am given to witness the truth that we are all connected in a web of love and harmony. What are you grateful for today?
