Happy Sunday! It’s a beautiful beginning to a hot day in the Bluegrass and I am grateful to be alive and living it. I’m grateful for a strong body that knows how to take care of itself, for feeling and being aware of muscles and tendons and how well they work, for healthy food, eating from our own garden and knowing my food and I share the same air and environment, for neighbors who share and lend a hand and back and getting things done. I’m grateful for the assisitance of and access to medications when I need them and all the ways I can support my body in supporting me. I’m grateful for beautiful sunrises and sunsets and that no two are alike, for stimulating conversations and friends with whom I always want to spend more time, for a dear, sweet dog friend who walks me and exercises me a few times a week and keeps me motivated and active, for Oscar’s excited cuddles when I first wake in the morning, for hot coffee and clean, cool water to drink. I’m grateful for my amazing spouse and her kind and compassionate nature. I’m grateful for my spiritual community and the time I get to spend with them today and all the ways that enriches my life and brings me joy. What are you grateful for today?
