Hello, Tuesday. I am grateful to be alive on this cooler summer morning. I’m grateful for the difference of 5 little degrees, for the big impact of all small things, in fact. I’m grateful for a week – 604,800 little seconds strung together, the smiles of strangers, children waving hello, tiny flashes of color in the yard, hummingbirds, bicycle rides, cats chasing knats, dog greetings, puffy clouds, my sister’s good day and time each day to meditate. My intention for today is to move my body – possibly on an early bike ride, to start writing my next article, to help someone find a solution to an issue, to spend some time in the company of someone who loves me and whom I love, to greet everyone I meet whether they make eye contact or not and to think something good about each of those people. What will you do with your wonderful gift of a day today?
