Happy Saturday! I’m grateful to be alive in the Bluegrass right now! I’m grateful for late-spring-like temperatures and warm breezes, bright sunshine and leaves like tiny little masterpieces opulently covering the world around me, jewel-toned and gorgeous in their uniqueness. I’m grateful for opportunities to volunteer and connect, for coming home to my best friend/spouse and the great and familiar comfort of her company, for debriefing each other about our day’s activities and having the best time simply being together – not having to do anything – just being. I’m grateful for my family, my sisters, my brother, all my nieces and nephews and my father who makes sure he tells me he loves me everyday and I am grateful to return the sentiment consciously and intentionally. I’m grateful for the words, “I love you,” – they are marvelous to say and to hear. I’m grateful to say them frequently and to some amazing people – and I’m grateful for every single time I’ve ever heard them directed at myself. Today, I intend to say, “I love you,” even more. Peace and blessings.
