Good morning, Thursday. I’m grateful to be living this cold, rainy, winter morning in Kentucky. I’m grateful for the gift of a very special ceremony and receiving a message I needed to hear, the amazing beauty of the messenger and even the way it chose to deliver its sacred bulletin, for every instance that I have glimpsed my connection to and beingness in the universe.
I’m reminded of the joke about the fishes swimming along as fishes do and one fish greets a couple of other fish swimming in the opposite direction by asking, “How’s the water today?” They nod and smile in return but once they are well past their greeter, one fish turns to the other and asks, “What’s water?”
Love and Beauty and Peace are that way – we are immersed in them just as we are in the air we breathe and I am grateful for every opportunity I have to see and feel that same Love and Beauty and Peace that is all around me, closer than my breath. Yesterday was a day like that and I am grateful.
Today, may I be kind in all that I think, say and do. Peace and blessings.
